It could be a reason more personal to you but in general it is more likely to be depressed at night. Light helps our mood… there’s no light at night. I actually use natural light light bulbs in my room because I was having the same problem. For me, I also feel more lonely at night which is a huge trigger for me. So, it depends… in general, I think it’s much easier to become depressed at night but obviously there could also be more personal reasons to why this happens for you.
But, if you already know that night is a more difficult time for you then you can try to do as much as you can to cope with that. Spend time with people at night, change your light bulbs, play calming music, ect…
